St. Joe & The Dorms are a geeky alternative/garage rock band from Providence, Rhode Island, featuring Griffin May (vocals, guitars), Jack Downey (vocals, bass), Cat Mazo (drums, vocals) and TJ Johnson (guitars, vocals). Started in college covering popular rock songs, they have now released their third EP with original material; after Get Real (October 2023, with amazing signature tune Sometimes I Think) and In Context (January 2024), latest one Grow Up arguably contains their best work to date. Sources of inspiration for the five new tracks are as diverse as power pop classic Stacy’s Mom, a cheap bottle of cologne, the Dirty Rotten Scoundrels movie, feeling handsome, and other important side issues, which translate into energetic and fun music to get a dance floor moving.
