Dirty Douchebag are a new French garage rock outfit featuring Benoit Ventana, Guillaume Fougère and Xavier Le Roux, debuting with this Old, Deaf and Gracious EP. Its cover art almost put me off picking it up, but musically it turned out to be a nice one that you can bother your neighbors with this weekend. The four songs are dirty and dangerous, energetic and exciting, with mean guitar riffs and provocative vocals. Recommended if you like The Hives, Split System, The Prize.
