Good news for those who can’t get enough of the ape sound of Les Envahisseurs: the Canadian garage rock 5-piece are back with their 3rd full-length album. After Garage Monkeys (2021) and Monkey Monk (2021), this theme within this genre offers more than enough inspiration for 10 new original tracks that immediately feel like classics (the LP then closes with a cover of Les Papillons Noirs – written by Serge Gainsbourg, recorded in 1966 by Michèle Arnaud). Anyway, this formula works. The songs once again are energetic, uplifting and danceable, chock full of hooks and with a sharp edge to make it even more exciting. A party is guaranteed with 5 Little Monkeys.
