No shortage of great singles this week. I’m not sure why, but I can’t get enough of My Friend by Australian farm rock band Bones and Jones. Is it the mesmerizing melody? The encouraging harmony vocals? Relatable lyrics? The powerful instrumentation? B-side Taxi isn’t wrong either, but the A-side is on repeat over here. A perfect song on the cutting edge of alternative rock, power pop and roots music.
