New album: The Len Price 3 || Misty Medway Magick

Fuzzed-up pub rock meets catchy pop perfection

Twenty years after their debut LP Chinese Burn, Medway’s ideal sons-in-law of The Len Price 3 are still flying the garage beat flag at full mast. Misty Medway Magick, their first full-length since 2021’s Ip Dip Do, finds the trio—Glenn Page (guitar, vocals), Steve Huggins (bass), and Neil Fromow (drums)—doing what they do best: mixing British Invasion melody with barroom grit until sparks fly.

Last June, we raved about the album’s first single, Emily’s Shop, and the twelve additional tracks are just as much fun. Before closing with the sensitive ballad One Day You Will Break My Heart, we get a host of electrifying melodies, eloquent vocals, and one infectious “whoo-hoo” after another—travelling through Margate Sand, Misty Medway, and Arthur’s Whirlwind.

There’s no reinvention here, just a reaffirmation of everything that makes The Len Price 3 a band to cherish: hooks, heart, and harmony.

Misty Medway Magick—produced by The Len Price 3, Jim Riley, and Little Steven—is out now on CD and vinyl LP through Wicked Cool Records.
