In October, British garage beat trio The Len Price 3—Glenn Page (guitar, vocals), Steve Huggins (bass), and Neil Fromow (drums)—will release their next album, Misty Medway Magick, a welcome follow-up to 2022’s amazing Ip Dip Do LP. Normally I would wait patiently for the full thing, but this first single is too much fun not to share right away.

A-side Emily’s Shop is a tribute to 70s BBC children’s series Bagpuss that meets vintage British invasion energy, flipside I’m A Fake is even catchier, if possible—a collector’s dream, with echoes of the past, blasted through a fuzz pedal. Both tunes last only 1:56, but the repeat button is not far away, fortunately. Put on your dancing shoes and sing along to the infectious whoo-hoo-hoo harmonies.
