Good news: Brad Marino has announced that his new LP Agent of Chaos will arrive in the spring of 2026. That’s still a while away, so to keep excitement levels up (and show some mercy to our impatience), Marino has dropped a new 7″ featuring one of the upcoming album tracks. Voodoo might sound like a horror-punk title, but don’t be fooled — this is prime Marino territory: a hook-heavy, melodic power pop tune with enough grit to please the pop-punk faithful. The sound is familiar, sure, but the execution? Flawless. It’s the kind of song that makes waiting for Agent of Chaos feel just a little more bearable.
On the flip, Marino tackles The Jesus and Mary Chain’s Between Planets, transforming it into a mid-tempo ‘80s-style Ramones pop-punk number with a cool new wave shimmer. It’s a fun, smart pairing that proves Marino knows exactly how to make a B-side feel like a bonus, not an afterthought.
7” out now — international orders available via Lighthouse Punk Records, Stardumb Records, Wanda Records, or Sugar & Spice.
