The lo-fi sound takes some getting used to, but if you listen past the noise, you’ll be rewarded with delicious guitar riffs and infectious choruses. We’re talking about Head Full Of Jelly, the new album from Gainesville, Florida-based artist Waylon S. Thornton, featuring ten garage punk ditties, totaling less than fourteen minutes. Musically it’s ramshackle, lyrically kind of disturbing, but it works, and that’s what matters, right?
Head Full Of Jelly is out now digitally via Floating Skull.
