Let me introduce you to Red Hot n Dizzy, an Irish garage rock band featuring Adam Donaldson (guitar, vocals), Eoghan Duffy (vocals), Sam Kinghan (bass) and Andrew Nelson (drums). Their debut EP A Piece of My Own hits the mark with four ramshackle rock ‘n’ roll songs with a touch of country and a dash of punk, plus an atypical fifth track that experiments outside our comfort zone (The Guvna’s Psycho Riddim goes wild with a jungle rhythm and creepy vocals). It’s not hard to imagine a sweaty audience dancing to this at a nightly gig with amps-to-eleven.
