Nice discovery alert! Please meet Californian four-piece The Ific, the next garage rock sensation. Although the band – Jeff Jewhurst (vocals, guitar), Ferenc Dobronyi (guitar), Johnny Vignault (bass) and Christian Stark (drums) – conquered the Bay Area with fierce live shows in recent years, the rest of the world had to wait until now for this melodic and fuzzy debut single. A-side Wrong Way is a catchy party banger with a sing-along chorus and cool guitar riffs, B-side Flakin’ Out is slightly less heavy but with a surprising break and strong lyrics perhaps even better. We want more! We want more!
