El Jefe (vocals / guitar), Mr. Handsome (bass / background vocals), and X man (drums) started in 2015 playing punk rock covers of The Beach Boys, but luckily The Surfin’ Limones have developed further with their own songs. They have since released two albums, Apolo I (2017) and StereoCosmic (2018), mixing surf, psychobilly, punk, and garage rock. And now there’s 180, an EP with four energetic new tracks, out digitally via Kafadan Kontak Records. The Spanish power trio may use pseudonyms and wear masks, but they can be quite proud of the wild waves this music creates, and add it to the resumes of their real identities.
