The Morning Bird are a Cleveland, Ohio-based roots rock band, featuring songwriter Jeremy Taylor (vocals, guitar), Daniel Rice (guitar), Jeremy Summer (bass), and Ryan Moore (drums). In 2019, they released their debut EP Lonesome Leaving Sound, and now here’s their first full-length album, ominously titled Dying Since The Day I Was Born.

Ten absorbing songs blend dark narratives with warm melodies and heartfelt vocals—it initially seems like restrained Americana, but it consistently rocks like a mean spirit. Heavy stuff, personal and poignant: “I gave you my heart, you gave me pawn shop drugs.” An intense and entrancing record.

Dying Since The Day I Was Born—recorded, mixed and mastered by Akron Recording Company—is out now digitally, on CD and vinyl LP (self-released).
