San Diego, California-based psychedelic rockers Wild Wild Wets return with Time Mutations, their fourth LP, and their most adventurous and escapist yet. The nine new songs, recorded live and produced by the band themselves, are a dense, 43-minute fever-dream swirl of psych, funk, post-punk, exotica, new wave, jazz, garage pop, and dance rock, that feels like stumbling into a parallel universe.

Expect a surreal listening experience, propelled by elastic bass, pulsing percussion, warm synths, funky guitars, and hazy vocals. It’s groove-heavy and hypnotizing—strange shapes and bold colors fight for priority.
