I don’t think we’ve written about Force Model before? Either way, the Los Angeles trio just dropped their new Barricade EP, and I’m thoroughly enjoying it. The dominant flavors here are alt pop, power pop, and noise pop—with melody being the common thread tying everything together. It’s quality guitar pop with a well-timed edge, full of hooks and punch. A very cool band, one I’ll definitely be keeping an eye on.
