The latest pickup from Jarama 45RPM Records is Maripili, a new band from Spain that should be an instant hit with the Stardumb, Punk Rock Raduno, and Mom’s Basement Records crowd. The members may have a history in bands like Klaus & Kinski, Hollywood Sinners, Autócratas, Laplank, and Quicklime, but Maripili sound like a gang of young pups fuelled by soda, crisps, and wine gums.

These four tracks are carefree, catchy, and full of spark — not a dud or downer in sight. Just buzzing bubblegum punk energy with hooks galore, the kind of songs that make you want to flip the record and start again right away.
