New album: Mudcat & The Redeemers || Rock & Roll Redemption

Keeping the blues torch burning bright

Oh man, one look at the cover photo is enough to know you want this release. Let me tell you, its content doesn’t disappoint either. Atlanta, Georgia-based roots musician Mudcat aka Daniel Peter Dudeck is back with some exciting slices of good old blues music, not shying away from rock ‘n’ roll and doo-wop influences. In about 25 minutes, you’ll hear six spellbinding songs—Loser’s Blues and Cosmic Dope / Burden of Sanity as quite different highlights—then again but bundled in one-take finale Full Redemption, with the intensity and feel of a live set.

Rock & Roll Redemption, produced by Snave, is out now digitally and on CD (self-released). Featuring Mudcat (vocal, guitar, ukulele), Joe Capo (guitar), Snave (bass, harmonies, guitar, flute, harmonica, percussion), and Bob Rice (drums), joined by Jackson Allen (harmonica), Eskil Wetterqvist (castanets), Adam Michal (accordion), and Joe Burton (trombone).
