Austin-based singer-songwriter (and University of Texas math professor) Sean Keel announces his fourth full-length album with new single Fischer, a gorgeous indie-folk ballad on the visit to the charming town where “every pasture’s a picture.” As ever, it’s the signature deep vocals and personal poetic lyrics—”You’re far from the dance if you’re // Looking for answers from me”—that command all the attention, and the sparse accompaniment of an acoustic guitar fits the bill.

As an encore we get three bonus tracks that are just as captivating and timeless, cowritten with friends and family from his band Bill the Pony—with After standing out: “It storms, the roof top rattle // Sounds like laughter // They’re here now // There’s no tomorrow left // Just after.”
