Vancouver-based guitar rock outfit The Jins made some waves with their 2019 Death Wish EP, not least through TikTok hit She Said, a track and video that smelled appealingly of teen spirit. As a warm-up for a new album, Ben Larsen (vocals, guitar), Hudson Partridge (bass) and Jamie Warnock (drums, vocals) return with two grungy new songs, You’re Going Far and Crutch, which excel in heavy riffs, raw vocals, and something intangible that should make this a hit too.
