Montreal pop punks Fast Food Fairies fully anticipate what critics will say about their debut record. They are “definitely not reinventing the wheel” with their music. But why should they when that wheel already rolls pretty smoothly?

Can’t Agree On Anything delivers 15 songs of midpaced to zippy pop punk tracks in the mold of The Riverdales and The Huntingtons. Most of the songs are originals, but cover enthusiast will surely enjoy the band’s version of Barbra (Modernettes), Burning Love (Dennis Linde, made famous by Elvis Presley), and (Sonny West, Bill Tilghman and Norman Petty, made famous by Buddy Holly).

Highly accessible and bubblegummy, this is highly enjoyable Summer time music.
