The brightly colored artwork by Miles Cartwright attracts attention, the “back to basics rock music” of Air Cannon effortlessly holds it. It turns out to be a solo project by Denver-based musician and noise engineer Steven Buck (The Dividing Pair, The Renaissance Aesthetic, The One Timers), who recently released his debut album Tangerine under this new moniker. We get ten powerful and solid songs with effective guitar riffs and raw vocals – heavy but with more than enough air in between. Blues rock meets garage psych, a seductive mixture.
