“…ten minutes of trashy bubblegum garage awesomeness.” One year ago, almost to the week, that’s how I described the self-titled EP from Sydney trio Itchy & The Nits. Today, I am happy to inform you that we can finally own the seven songs from the EP on vinyl – previously available on Cassette only, alongside 5 new songs.
The result is a a whirlwind of punk-infused garage goodness. Totally primitive and on a production budget of course, but above all, it’s cheeky, it’s catchy, and it’s downright fun. But we kinda already knew that. And if those 5 new tracks (one of which is a Gizmos cover) are any indication, Itchy & The Nits are only just getting started. Sure, they total for about six minutes actual new music, but these Australians make every second count.
