The Rolling People was one of the standout tracks from The Verve’s 1997 Urban Hymns LP, a title that’s an apt band name for the latest British live sensation to follow in the footsteps of Richard Ashcroft’s successful outfit. The Rolling People have just shared their latest track I’ll Be There, an awesome future hit that’s reminiscent of The Music‘s best work, and a good reason to take a look back at four previous singles brought together on An Introduction, an EP released last December. Everything that made the sound of previous great indie rock bands from the UK so irresistible is present on The World Is Mine, This Much Is True, Better Man and Disguise, just listen. We can expect more news about a new EP from the young four-piece soon.
