Upon the release of their debut LP Here’s The Thing, we predicted that Brooklyn, New York-based indie rock trio The Thing would conquer the world. Jack Bradley, Michael Carter and Zane Acord indeed are winning more and more hearts. With their sophomore album The Thing Is – yes, a good band name has its advantages – they will undoubtedly continue that upward trend, because the eleven new songs again have the hooks and the sound. A little more mature, but still with the confident and youthful bravado that is typical of bands from the city that never sleeps. Including a striking cover of Sonic Boom’s You’re The One.
The Thing Is, produced by Jack Bradley, is out digitally via Onion Records.
