Early this year, Blues Lawyer (Oakland) released what I consider to be a modern indie classic with All In Good time. This week, right before boarding a plane to tour the UK and Europe (siked!), the band dropped a surprise four-song 7″ EP on Dark Entries Records. The Sight Gags On The Radio EP builds off the strength of their latest full length, which is kinda insane given that the four songs were self-recorded in just one afternoon by the band’s own Rob I. Miller. And not even in a studio, but in the band’s rehearsal space. I guess Blues Lawyer has become one of those band incapable of writing bad tunes. We are all better for it.
