London-based rock ‘n’ roll grind-a-go go machine The Fuzillis know how to throw a party. Dani Martini (guitar, vocals), Colonel “Chicken” Evoy (sax, vocals) Frankie Fuzilli Sr. (bass, vocals) and Toby “2 beers” Ungless (drums, vocals) play energetic garage rhythm & blues (you can call it saxophone-driven pub rock), but they are also praised for their straightforward and memorable lyrics (although this is a Dick & Libby Halleman cover). Everyone can immediately sing along to their latest hit: Pizza Sure is Good – see a live performance from a few months ago below, but the song has now been officially released on a 3-track EP. On the flipside you’ll find the Down By The Riverside-like instrumental Midnighter, and the Chuck Berry-esque floor filler Dear Dad. Put on your dancing shoes.
Pizza Sure is Good is out now digitally and on 7″ vinyl through Folc Records.
