For some advice for young and old, we once again turn our attention to Melbourne, Australia. Please meet The Sprouts, a quirky garage pop band – Rob Remedios, Matthew Ford, Innez Tulloch and Tom Marinelli – which sounds a bit like a mash-up between Velvet Underground, Ultimate Painting and Holiday Ghosts. On their debut LP Eat Your Greens you’ll hear ten jangly guitar songs, brilliant in their simplicity. This is lo-fi but infectious music, with lyrics the whole family can sing along to.
