New album: The Tender Things || That Texas Touch

After leaving Heartless Bastards in 2018, Jesse Ebaugh founded The Tender Things. Together with a group of skilled musicians he creates songs that – depending on who you ask – have been described as headneck country rock, roots americana, country soul or hippie country. Their new (third) full-length album That Texas Touch is their best yet – unambiguous, groovy, heartfelt and stirring. You’ll hear eight wonderful tunes, contemporary but with a 70s feel. Summer has started early.

Naturally, the Austin, Texas-based band will be performing multiple times this week at SXSW 2023. If you want to know what to expect, check out their recent Jam in the Van session, where they played three songs from their new record.

That Texas Touch, produced by Gordy Quist, is out digitally and on vinyl LP through Spaceflight Records.
