UK four-piece The Lotts are back with six new, short but powerful tunes, brought together on the Ice Cold EP. Less wild and more mature than their previous work – they debuted in 2018 – but imho of a higher level. The music of Henry Buchanan (guitar, vocals), Jamie Evans (bass), Joel Norton (drums) and Adam Bridge (guitar) is basically primitive, energetic garage rock, but they are now also taking a foray into the blues. What makes their sound so appealing, however, are the staccato riffs and the catchy la-la-la and ah-ah choruses. Ice Cold is pretty cool.
Ice Cold is out now digitally (self-released). Add to wantlist: Bandcamp
