J’Attique is a new indie pop/rock band from Madison, Wisconsin, featuring songwriter Madison Sheen (vocals), Rae Salazar Ng (guitar), Jackie Schellberg (bass), and Jack Jentz (percussion, keys). On their self-titled debut LP, you’ll hear eight well-structured songs—some over five minutes, some under two, depending on what’s needed—where guitars and synths reinforce each other, but angelic vocals naturally command the most attention.

It is a fitting soundtrack to the captivating lyrics on disillusionment with modern life and the search for authenticity—told through snapshots of fame, youth, identity crises, and alienation. Navigating a world of illusions, where appearances dominate but connection and meaning are elusive, will be relatable to many, especially when it is so well packaged.
