The latest EP by Plastic Tones has been out for over a week, and I’m becoming increasingly infatuated. The five-piece from Helsinki plays a pop heavy brand of indiepunk with a strong undercurrent of ’80s new wave and power pop. The We’re All In This Together EP opens strongly with Black Star, and with Making Reality and Behind The Wheel contains two songs that sound like lost classics from four decades ago.
