New EP: Grazia || In Poor Taste

After an amazing 2023 for the label, the first Feel It Records release of 2024 shows the label’s antenna for finding the edgiest and most interesting bands in underground (post)punk still is a source of envy and admiration. Feel It’s latest kickass addition is the London (UK) duo Heather Dunlop and Lindsay Corstorphine, aka Grazia.

Grazia’s debut EP In Poor Taste, now available on a 7” with a sleeve in three color variants, is full of concise poppy post punk songs. The deceptively straightforward lyrics, delivered in a talk-singing style, exude an attitude of empowerment and seduction, as exemplified by lines like “Pick me Up and tear me down // I’m still the type you want around // I’m the fantasy you seek // God, it pays to look this cheap.“

Given their penance for writing hits (listen to Cheap and Speed Freak), Grazia may very well be on a fast track to stardom. I’ll be listening!
