Seriously though, this Stockholm band—featuring members of Speedway—pull hard on those melodic hardcore heartstrings with their debut album. Within Dreams takes a hardcore upbringing and folds in influences from across the alternative spectrum, recalling the creative, emotionally charged side of As Friends Rust. Tenderness and aggression move in lockstep here, with Feels Like Heaven fully embracing their pop instincts without sanding down the impact.
Revolution Summer vibes beaming out of a freezing Swedish winter isn’t something I expected—or asked for—but Within Dreams absolutely delivers. Out now on Scheme.
