We’re super excited to premiere Brad Marino’s new video today. Murder and Violence is the second track teased from Marino’s upcoming album Agent of Chaos, due in the first week of April.

Following Voodoo—which landed on our favorite singles of the year list, as well as on those of our respected peers—Murder and Violence only ramps up the anticipation. The mid-paced garage power pop fits perfectly into Marino’s discography, and while it shouldn’t come as a surprise, it still hits hard. Brad Marino really is that consistent.

Here’s what Brad says about the song:

“I was sort of going for a ‘Jesus & Mary Chain’ style crossed w The Ramones. Lyrically it sounds deeper than it is—overall the message is how we witness a lot of murder and violence and messed up stuff through our screens & how many people are just compliant and nod along with whatever politician or talking head messaging is spewed at them.”

Keep an eye on Spaghetty Town (US), Ghost Highway (Spain), and Beluga Records (EU)—pre-orders should pop up sometime next month.
