Ready for some ALL CAPS PUNK from Detroit? FEN FEN are able and willing purveyors of exactly that, leaving it all out there on their latest LP IN YER SIGHTS. Opening with drumrolls that practically rev the engine for you, the (very Detroit-ish) opener MOTORCYCLE kicks things into overdrive, and the new LP quickly becomes a whirlwind of Killed By Death punk, fueled by frenetic playing and vocal snarls. Somehow, every time I play this record, I play it twice for another fix. The trashy Shellshokt is my favorite track among the bunch.
