Brunobauer are an exciting alt-rock outfit out of Surabaya, Indonesia, that fans of Bob Mould, Archers of Loaf, and Superdrag should definitely check out. …Are The Best Lovers is the band’s second EP, featuring two songs in their native language and three in English. The first three tracks come out swinging with gritty guitar rock, while the closing pair — Doomscroll Anthem and Rain in July — lean into a more emo and slowcore-inspired mood.

Brunobauer are one to keep both ears on.
