Out this week on tape and absolutely wantlist-worthy, Horrible Songs… delivers 14 outsider pop gems that mix protopunk, horror garage, and late-’70s pop punk influences. Slightly eerie, definitely lo-fi, charmingly ramshackle, yet undeniably melodic, it’s an out-of-time record for out-of-step people.
