The L.A.-based indie rock duo Raised On TV, comprised of brothers Keaton Rogers and Kacey Greenwood (same mom, different dads), have just released their fourth LP Make Time To Make Time on Sell The Heart Records.
The album is a sunny and upbeat, yet slightly melancholic collection of songs that sonically recalls the indie rock scene of the 2000s. At times, their sound leans toward “modern” power pop bands like Fountains of Wayne, while at other moments, they even incorporate some emo elements. Overall, Raised On TV deliver a smooth listening experience, and while the record might be easy to underestimate because of its laid-back vibe and straightforward nature, it’s clear these brothers know how to write a tune.
