The last time we heard from The Easy Button (Tampa, Florida), the four-piece nerded out over their shared love for Weezer on The Weezy Button EP, covering six Weezer song and adding one original called Weezer fan. Hence, it’s not all that surprising to see Weezer among the tags on the Bandcamp page for their new album Through Our Own Parade. You can find Fountains of Wayne there as well.
As such, the sonic direction of the eleven songs on Through Our Own Parade should not come as a surprise. Perhaps a bit less polished than Weezer and Fountains of Wayne, this is modern power pop/geek rock that should go well with fans of the genre.
