The Big Spit are a brand new band from Minneapolis, Minnesota. They debut with a two-song digital single that makes me sit up straight and nod my head in approval. In My Cloud is an okay-ish song for me, but Living Fire is right up my wheelhouse. It’s an exciting draw between modern power pop and ’90s altpop. If that song is any indication of where the Twin Cities three-piece is heading, I’m adding The Big Spit to my band-to-watch list.
