Well here is something brand new and exciting. Meet Spike Derby, self-proclaimed deliverers of “garage rock and country love bangers outta Sydney.” The Love n Knuckles EP sure is a promising start for the band of two (Alex and Dane). The four songs are energetic and bouncy garage pop nuggets characterized by raspy sore throat vocals, sweet guitar licks and barely hidden infectious melodies. What’s not to like?
