Adam Reid (Easthampton, Massachusetts) started releasing music in 2009. What was initially a singer songwriter project eventually became a full band indie rock project with a touch of folk and americana. The Numbers Keep Repeating is the band’s latest release, with Reid joined by Hannah Mills, Cory Brown and Piper Preston as the In-Betweens. Also joining are several guests playing instruments like violin, keyboard and trumpet. If you think the breadth of instruments are indicative of the band’s sound, you are right. The Numbers Keep Repeating is a varied and layered record. It’s a “grower” with strong songwriting and subtle instrumentation. It is out now on Tape (and digitally of course) through Snappy Little Numbers.
