Time for some old time hardcore from Connecticut. The name of the band is Wreckage, who include Youth of Today, Wide Awake, Turning Point and Cornerstone among their influences. All those bands have found a permanent spot in my record collection, which may explain my fondness of the Our Time EP. The music of Wreckage ignites a jolt of energy, and mixes aggression with melody.
The Our Time EP is out now on 12″ through Scheme Records. In addition to seven new tracks, the B-side of the LP contains their second demo, and a re-recorded song from their first demo.
