Milestones deserve to be celebrated. Releasing your 100th record as a label certainly qualifies. So congratulations to Knuckles on Stun, the Nashville label that has spent the past hundred releases introducing us to excellent bands with respectable names like Nazi Tampons, Eye Ball, and Game Show Models.

And how do you celebrate a milestone like that? With a compilation, of course. Punk rock’s favorite way of proving that too many bands is never actually too many bands.

It is not Knuckles on Stun’s first crack at the format either. You may remember the Delinquents & Shitbags comp. This time they’ve returned with Fucked Up & Fuzzed Out, bringing together tracks from the previously mentioned bands (except Game Show Models) and a whole lot more.

If you’re looking for excuses not to spend your hard-earned cash on this one, I’ve got bad news: every single track is previously unreleased. There are familiar favorites like Power Pants, Electric Prawns 2, Garbanzo, Media Puzzle, Eye Ball, Nazi Tampons, and Xray Xeroxx, alongside plenty of new names waiting to become your next obsession. Better still, this doesn’t feel like a collection of leftovers swept off the studio floor. These bands came to play. And there are definitely a couple of handful tracks here that will draw you from your comfort zone.
