Marty Brass and Richard Hamilton recorded these two songs in a single afternoon back in 2024, and the whole thing carries that effortless, lightning-in-a-bottle charm. You may remember Hamilton from his Pop Factory album, a slightly warped lo-fi tape packed with sun-soaked California vibes, glam rock crunch, and sticky pop hooks. Brass has been quietly building an impressive catalog of his own as well, and together they sound instantly locked in.

I first fell for the B-side, Go Daisy Go. It brought back the same rush as discovering Warm Soda for the first time: jangly, fuzzy, ridiculously catchy garage pop that drifts like a daydream yet sticks like gum to a sneaker. But the A-side is right there with it. Long Response runs on a repetitive crunchy chord progression that never overplays its hand. One of those songs where less really is more.

Speaking of more… Hopefully this is not the last we hear from Liquid Images.
