Murcia quintet Higinio return with a new 7″ on Hurrah! Música, offering four blasts of garage power pop. The title track alone makes a strong case for picking this one up, but the whole record is packed with ragged charm.

Higinio call themselves working-class heroes, and while I can’t understand the lyrics, the press release suggests their songs draw from everyday work life with a dose of self-deprecating humor. No translation needed, though — the hooks, energy, and grit provide more than enough pleasure on their own.
