In case you missed Situations’ Leave Home EP in 2020, here is some good news. The EP, which was originally released only digitally and on tape is finally available on vinyl. It’s my first taste of the Californian band, and if I wasn’t so particular about applying arbitrary rules when it comes to my records/EPs of the year lists, it would certainly have made the cut. The four songs on the Leave Home EP are a premium blend of ’77 punk, powerpop and glamrock’n’roll. Nevermind its original release date, this one goes on the wantlist immediately.
Self-released on their own Burnt City Records label, this record expected to ship this week.
