Bog Imp, out of Vernon Township, deal in short, loud bursts rather than anything gentle or sweet. Most songs barely scrape past the one-minute mark before they\u2019re gone.<\/p>\n<p>If there\u2019s a shared trait between the two bands, it\u2019s a knack for melody and hooks. Bog Imp bury theirs under lo-fi grit, buzzsaw guitars, and levels pushed deep into the red, but they still cut through without much effort.<\/p>\n<p>This is buzzsaw garage pop done right.
