Songwriter Gemma Fleet (vocals), Christopher Taylor (guitar), Andrew Doig (bass), and new band member Luke Moran (drums) deliver twelve well-balanced songs in which the energy and dynamics rarely dip\u2014until the closing track, appropriately titled <em>Calm Down<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The record&#8217;s strength lies in the interplay between the characterful vocals and restless riffs and rhythms, interspersed with buoyant hooks that meet contemplative edges.
