They kick things off with <em>Polka Dot Girl<\/em>, a frantic blast of classic twee punk. Rather than setting the tone, it works more like a jolt to the system. From there, the band eases into a sound that\u2019s equal parts jangle, garage pop, and indie charm, while keeping a punk spirit simmering underneath.<\/p>\n<p>The real treat is how effortlessly they balance those elements\u2014like on the title track\u2019s timeless melodies, the dreamy <em>Ojos de Luneta<\/em>, the pure UK-style twee pop of <em>Never Know<\/em>, and the punchy <em>Skyscraper and Everybody<\/em>.
