WiMP! is the latest addition to the ever expanding roster of Rum Bar Records, and while they are a logical fit, they are a departure of prime quality meat-and-potatoes rock-&#8216;n&#8217;-roll and power pop for which Rum Bar has built a sturdy reputation.<\/p>\n<p><em>Black Sheep<\/em>, which is the first WiMP! album, is straightup pop punk, and here is what it has in common with most Rum Bar releases, it is easy to like and comes with a honest heartland heartbeat. <em>Black Sheep<\/em> reignites your fondness for pop punk.\u00a0 WiMP! lets songwriting and execution ride shotgun whereas originality isn&#8217;t even an afterthought. Songs like <em>Set You Free<\/em> and <em>Yesterday <\/em>brings out everything that is great about pop punk.
